Best of Our Candid Wedding Photography

Candid. What does that word make you feel? When we ask if we can be candid we are asking if we can be honest and unjudged. Moments in time where we are free and open are moments that seem to fly by. Those happy fleeting moments that we can never get back. One of my favorite Bob Dylan quotes is from a quirky song of his called “Open The Door, Homer”. In the song he says, “Take care of all your memories.. for you cannot relive them”. That quote is one that seems to kick itself around my mind from time to time. When I’m shooting a wedding it is easy to think of it as just another work day but I always remind myself that these are moments that will rush by and be lost but for the images captured throughout the day. Those laughs with grandpa, hugs with grandma, all of your siblings together again, these are moments that we go to and find joy. Being a candid wedding photographer is a label that is used quite often in the wedding industry but to us, we persistently remain intentional in capturing real fast-fading moments. Collecting candid images of family and friends on wedding days is truly our passion. I always tell my couples that I’m just extremely sneaky and can quietly capture all those moments without making a sound. Candid wedding photography isn’t a cliche for us, it’s what we do best and it’s what we love about shooting weddings.
