May at the Lalumondiere St Louis Wedding Venue is arguably one of the prettiest places in the state of Missouri. We were lucky to shoot here twice over the summer and it quickly lept to one of our favorite locations.
Alex and Bryan are two of the coolest, chillest people we’ve met to date and their wedding was just as cool as they are! Rain comes with spring weddings. It’s just how it goes! But the rain held off for all of the parts of the day that we needed it to. It drizzled early that morning, but was just overcast and beautiful for the rest of the day.
We love a first look, truly we do, but sometimes seeing the couple see their partner walking towards them is some kind of magic we can’t describe. Alex looked like otherworldly beautiful walking towards Bryan. Down the steps, over the rain soaked grass, and into the birdcage over that rolling river. I wish I could convey how the air felt and what it smelled like.
