Emiliana is one of the incredibly talented team members of Coda’s Events here in St. Louis, so when she reached out to us and asked us to shoot her wedding, we were very, very excited. We planned their engagement session for the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis and were lucky to basically have the entire place to ourselves for a short while.
As a fine art degree holder, any time that I can photograph or be in an art gallery is a dream. CAM is set up in a way that the natural light and clean lines of the courtyard don’t take away from any of the exhibits and also are an architectural art themselves. We photographed mid-day to take advantage of the contrast of harsh daylight and shadow. It also meant the interior had the brightest, milkiest light as well.
Zach did a beautiful job on these and it was easy when you’re photographing couples as cool and stylish as Emiliana and Justin. We are looking forward to their St. Louis wedding this summer!
