One of our favorite ways to get to know our couples and help them be most comfortable on their wedding day is to photograph them before they say “I do”. So we drove outside of the St. Louis area to St. Charles to meet up with C + R for their engagement session. When we talked about locations, Christina visualized large open fields with tall grass. I knew August A. Busch could provide that and was excited to plan their session there. The only other time I had photographed at this location was in early spring, so I knew that once things were green and alive again, all of the areas I had seen before would be beautiful. What I didn’t expect were yellow flowers taller than all of us matching their outfits!

Just like all of our days with our couples, the day was relaxed and beautiful. A soft sunset gave us the perfect ending to the perfect day. We can’t wait to photograph their St. Louis wedding this year!
