Candid Documentary Style Wedding Day at Piper Palm House in St. Louis, MO

We love the small moments. The moments that just whiz right by. These are the the images we chase. When we hear our couples say, “I can’t believe you got that!” we know we did our job.
Hunter and Miranda’s wedding day was the perfect occasion for capturing sweet candid shots. Rosalie and I have both been focusing heavily on shooting intentional documentary style wedding days. The Piper Palm House at Tower Grove in St. Louis lend itself quit well to such a slow and easy celebration like this couple’s. The “Director’s Home” in Tower Grove park was such a beautifully cozy place to get ready too. Vintage wall paper, bold paint jobs, old world wood details, and of course a rooster kitchen really makes this home a truly interesting place to put on all of the finishing touches before the ceremony. Speaking of ceremonies, ugh, The Piper Palm House is one of the most striking places to hold a wedding ceremony in St. Louis. (Yes there are palm trees!) The massive windows and vaulted ceilings truly are a spectacle.
So go ahead and take a look at this relaxed, bright and sunny spring wedding. Rosalie and I both are just ridiculously proud of this set of timeless images.
