When Spencer and Jordan told me they wanted to have their engagement session less than five minutes from where I grew up in rural Bloomfield, Missouri, I was filled with the best type of nostalgia. I showed up to Jordan’s aunt’s home (She was my high school principal and Zach’s superintendent after she left my school. Small world!) and my heart may have exploded when I saw how incredible they looked! I love that they had a dressy option and a casual option.

Jordan’s cousin drove us around on the 4x4 (For those unfamiliar, it’s like a four wheeler on steroids.) and played some of their favorite songs. Every part of the property was perfectly drenched in sunlight. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, Jordan and Spencer danced in its warmth. I felt incredibly lucky to be the one to photograph these two. I love this job.
