A Downtown St. Louis Wedding

Jane and Conner’s wedding at Union Station in Downtown St. Louis. We brought all of our film cameras for the day as usual, but we had the privilege to capture a few portraits with Jane’s grandfather’s 50s era camera. The camera was lovingly restored and fitted for 120 film by Conner. A few days leading up to the wedding I met with Jane at a coffee shop where she loaned me the camera. I had never used it before and Jane showed me possibly the only person on youtube that had a how-to video for it. I watched the video and taught myself the basics of the camera and practiced with a roll of film. The day of the wedding I was confident with the camera, but I surprised myself just how perfect the portrait turned out. The first photo you’ll see here is that portrait. The rest are the photos I chose that I feel best capture this wedding day.
